DAVID WILLIAMS BIO.

Born in Columbus, Ohio, he attended his first art class at age 4 at Ohio
State University. He also studied oils with Carol L. Randolph and pen and
ink with the late Tom McConville. He has worked in pastels and photography
as well. In the mid-90¹s he discovered found art, with his best objects
being made of creek glass.
In 1976 he went to work in the crane and rigging business, taking time off
to attend Waynesburg College as an art major. In 1982 he began inspecting
nuclear power plants. During this time he produced many tee shirt designs
and was able to photograph many areas of the United States. He left this
industry in 1991 and began working as a historic preservationist and home
restorer in Pa., W.Va., Maryland and Florida. As an avid outdoorsman and
mushroom hunter, he spends time in nature with his camera and hopes to
incorporate these images in his work.
He has been represented by My Friends Restaurant, Covered Bridge Gallery
and the Frame Up Gallery in Waynesburg, Pa., and South Arts Gallery in
Bethel Park, Pa. He has shown his work at the Blast on the Mon show in
Greensboro, Pa. His work in held in private collections from Annapolis,
Md., to San Diego, Calif.
He believes that creating enjoyable art for everyone has more redeeming
qualities than any other job he has ever had and hopes to produce many
pieces in the future.
